Home & School hosts Trunk-or-Treat and a Chili Cook-Off every year on the Friday before Halloween. Registration is due at least a week before. Set up begins at 5pm and treating begins at 6pm. Chili judging takes place until 7pm. There is a costume contest beginning at 7pm. Awards for best costume, best trunk, and best chili are handed out around 7:15pm.
Everyone must register for this event. It’s $5 per treater if you don’t decorate a car. If you decorate a car and hand out candy (or skip the decorations and just hand out candy), treating is free. The chili cook-off is free. This event is open to all IC families and their invited guests. Walk-ins and uninvited guests will not be allowed entry.
