Mission & Identity

Our Mission: To empower students to reach their full potential as members of their family, parish, and community.

We, members of Immaculate Conception Catholic School, are enriched by tradition, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are a community of believers. We are growing together in faith, love, and knowledge of Christ. We live to serve God, our church, our community, and continually attempt to reach out globally in service to others. We strive to provide a Christian environment that is safe and secure; where students may grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. An environment where parents are encouraged in their role as a child’s first teacher and where children are provided the opportunity to utilize their gifts and talents to glorify the Lord. Our hope is that students are empowered to reach their full academic potential.

Catholic Identity

Mass is celebrated with the school children three times a week. All school mass is once a week. In order to tailor the homily for age appropriate messages, primary students (grades K-4) attend one mass, while upper grades attend another mass. Students actively participate in mass by serving, reading and carrying up the gifts.

All students are prepared for the sacraments of first penance and first communion during 2nd grade Religion instruction. Additionally, confirmation preparation is taught in the fall of 7th grade. Non-Catholic students will receive the sacramental preparation as part of their Religion curriculum; however, reception of the sacrament is prohibited.

Students are assigned to multi-grade faith families assigned to a teacher. Faith Families meet once a month in order to explore a different virtue. They provide an opportunity for prayer and reflection with different aged peers/students. Additionally, Faith Families participate in a school wide activity to encourage community outreach.
